How does VacationAI optimize my time off?

VacationAI uses AI to analyze your vacation days, sick days, work schedule, and company holidays. It finds the best combinations of bridge days, long weekends, and extended breaks to maximize your total time off.

What does "days to save" mean?

This is the number of vacation days you want to keep in reserve and not schedule. For example, if you have 20 vacation days and want to save 2, the app will optimize a schedule using the remaining 18 days.

Can I use sick days for optimization?

Yes. In the settings, you can toggle "Use sick days for optimization" to include your sick days in the vacation planning. The app will track which days are vacation and which are sick days separately.

How do I change my vacation settings after optimizing?

Go to the Settings screen from your Dashboard. You can update your vacation days, sick days, days to save, and optimization goal. Tap "Save & Re-optimize" to generate a new schedule with your updated preferences.

How do I manage my subscription?

Your subscription is managed through Apple. To view, modify, or cancel your subscription, go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. You'll find VacationAI listed there.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

On the subscription screen, tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

Is my data stored on a server?

No. All your vacation planning data is stored locally on your device. When you use the AI optimization, your preferences are sent to generate a schedule but are not stored on any server. Deleting the app removes all your data.

The app isn't showing my correct number of days. What should I do?

Go to Settings and verify your vacation days, sick days, and days to save are entered correctly. Then tap "Save & Re-optimize" to regenerate your schedule.
